Christopher has been designing and hand crafting jewellery since the age of 16.
His showroom and workshop in Leigh Road have been established since 1983.
After a brief spell hitch-hiking around the beaches of the South of France fashioning jewellery from local restaurant cutlery, he returned to the UK.
A 4 year jewellery design and manufacture course at Medway College (now Kent University) gained him a Distinction and numerous awards for his innovation and creativity.
The following 2 years saw Chris training under the famous Dutch Goldsmith, Leo DeVroomen, where he learnt the standards that he still holds so dear to this day.
Specialising in the design of exclusive hand-made gold, silver and platinum jewellery. Proportion, attention to detail and designs that are comfortable to wear have become his hallmark. Experience has taught Chris that we are all individuals and it is this individuality that we reflect in the style of jewellery we choose to wear.
Chris has created stunning one-off design pieces for clients across the world and he welcomes commissions. With the price of gold so high at the current time, he has increasingly been asked to melt customers gold and re-design it to something more contemporary.
Christopher is a member of the National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG).
This is the professional trade association for retail jewellers.
He is a member of the Institute of Registered Valuers, a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and a Freeman of the City of London.
His workshop, staffed by a team of hugely talented and highly skilled craftsmen, ensures that no job is turned away and all but the Hallmarking is carried out onsite.
The staff in the showroom, as well as being professional and friendly, are fully trained and highly knowledgable in the jewellery field.
